Let a parrotlet add light into your life
Flock of Feathers is a closed aviary located at the foot of the appalacian mountains in the foothills of NorthEast Tennessee. I specialize in parrotlets . I do raise a few other species as you will see in this site. My babys are hand fed and well socialized. Each baby gets one on one attention, which is lot and lots of love and cuddles. I do not run a busness but at times I do have babys for adoption. My babys must go to good homes only and I will not sell an unweaned baby to anyone other than another breeder, who has to know how to handfeed. My name is Anita and I live in Greeneville Tennessee. I do   ship  and welcome anyone who is truly interested in the welfare of birds.
Hello, my name is Blue Angel & my mates name is Arron. Yep, you guessed it, mom named us after the country singer and his song. Does that make us famous? Oh well anyhow you will see Arron later, he is a split pacific and he sure is a handsome guy. Our mommy takes good care of us and we love her very very much so come on and follow me and I will introduce you to everyone. Oh I almost forgot, place your curser over the lite bulb and see what happens.

These pictures  show a baby parrotlet, one of many that I handfed from day 1. It took a lot of time and  lost sleep but we made it. There is nothing any more rewarding than watching these little guys and gals grow and strive. Also watching each babys little personality develope.  I pull babys inbetween 12 to 14 days old to handfeed. But for some reason  every once in a while there will be a time when I have to get one out and do all I can to try to give it a chance at life. It is sad to say but all dont survive. I have been very lucky as I havent lost but 2 out of many day ones. I have handfed over 300 babys and I have been rewarded many times over by them. What more can I say, " they are great".
